KTW has concluded a contract for the delivery of 2 turbines

OJSC Kaluga Turbine Works has concluded a contract with Guinean company Friguia S.A. for the export of Р-12-8,8/0,85 Т turbine for the bauxite and alumina refinery "Friguia", Republic of Guinea, Africa. The turbine is scheduled to be delivered before the end of February 2020.

In addition, OJSC Kaluga Turbine Works has concluded a contract with PJSC “KVADRA” for the delivery of P-12-3,4/0,1 turbine for Gubkinskaya CHPP. Delivery term — July 2020.

As was noted by the commercial director of OJSC KTW Ivan Aleksandrovich Romanov: “We are confident in the long-term and effective operation of turbines produced by KTW. For this type of turbine, we provide an enhanced warranty under the contract, which is 3 years from the commissioning date.

Steam stationary cogeneration turbines with back pressure P-12-8,8/0,85 T and P-12-3,4/0,1 are designed for direct drive of two-poled power generators with a capacity of 12 MW and supply of heat consumers with steam from the steam pipeline behind the turbine.

The turbine for the bauxite and alumina refinery “Friguia” is equipped with an automated control system. The turbine is controlled by means of a microprocessor-based electro-hydraulic automatic control system, which provides basic operation modes: idle running, electric loaded operation, thermal loaded operation, instantaneous reset to a zero-rated electrical load.
